Back in office...
After the half day leave that I took to do some shopping and attend a party, I didn't return to office for 2 weeks, because I was away for a training course on Price Statistics (something related to my work).Initially I was quite worried, because some of the participants from other countries are of quite hig rank, e.g. Directors, Chef of Statistic Office. Well... after all the worries, things turn out to be quite ok becausem actually quite a large portion of them didn't come equiped with alot of knowledge and some others had much difficulty understanding due to language barrier...
The course was really enriching... learnt alot, so much that I have the urge to quickly return back to office to share with my section so that we can make improvement to our current practices... But of course, there must be more things that we enjoy from the course... and they are....
1) tea breaks!!
2) long lunch breaks... (about 1.5 to 2 hours lunch break)
3) new variety of food to try out
4) early dismissal of class
5) extremely generous welcome lunch and farewell lunch at Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Tang Marriot Hotel
Ha ha.. there were twice where we were dismissed at 3+pm and 4pm. So early that some of them went shopping, while I went home to slag and rest... Ha ha...
Today, back in office... So not used to it... no more teabreaks, shorter lunch breaks... no more early dismissals... Haiz.... Well well... the fun is over... time to get back to proper work...
That's our class photo... Bye bye, my foreign friends...
Over the weekend, went to meet my sisters to celebrate Wanfen's birthday... We went to Changi Village for Chilli Crabs~! Ha ha.. it was really good. the crabs are big and fleshy and the chilli paste was just so right together with the little buns...
Wanfen, Happy Birthday!
