At Last...
This whole is a very terrible week... Everything just happened to fall in this week... First is my mid-term talk, followed by SnB Welcome Tea and then lastly is my dance competition...So many things happened that I'm forced to believe that I'm really very unlucky this whole week. In fact, bad luck star shone on me since last thursday, when I slipped and fell on my way home. It was so terrible that I couldn't even walk properly. This caused me to be extremely upset because I injured my left knee cap and I can't dance when my competition is in 1 week's time.
Since then, bad luck star seems to be following me so tightly. On Wednesday, I didn't perform well for my mid-term talk. Although I rehearsed several times, but I didn't realise that I got my basic concepts wrong. After hearing the feedbacks from my supervisor, I almost burst into tears... Due to that, at night during dance practice, I had arguments with my partner and we almost quarrelled..
On thursday we had our SnB Welcome Tea. As I'm in charge of the refreshments, hence I have to rush home after school. However I was so shock to see my car being wheel-clamped. It is not that I don't want to park in a parking lot, but there is really no lots available and yet I'm holding a season parking ticket. Sigh... had arguments with the management and so delayed my time schedule.
At night, our SnB Welcome Tea wasn't very successful because, the amount who turn up for the Welcome Tea is so terribly little. Sigh...
Then on saturday, I went for dance as usual. For the 1st time in my 1.5 years' dance experience, I was summoned for putting insufficient parking coupons and the fine $20... sigh...
With all this things happening, what else can I say but I'm really unlucky. So for the sake of myself, I made an effort to go to the temple on Sunday morning to pray for better luck and safety. Thankfully, I guess things really turned better... It's the day, 2nd SBDTA Ballroom Dance Competition. Though no one was at home to help me, I still managed to do all preparations alone. During the competition, things went quite smoothly though we still made some mistakes here and there... In the end, Andrew and I won the champion for Cha Cha Cha and Jive, and 1st runner up for Rumba and Samba. Woo hoo... it's quite surprising because we thought we won't do well with all the mistakes made... ha ha...
So at last... this week finally ended with something positive... Phew... what a week...
Anyway, above are some photos taken during the competition...
