Efficiency!!!
About 2 weeks ago, I received a phone call from DOS. They called to inform that they are offering me a job as a statistician. That was really the greatest news for that day then, because I was really keen in that job.After so much rejections from MOE and other places, I started to wonder if I really want to go into teaching as a career. To a certain extent, I was really disheartened by then and really wonder if I'm not suited to be a teacher. And after much considerations, I decided to open up my options and try to look into other careers... Now that I'm offered a job at DOS, I'm really really thankful and look forward to it. But something that I think it's really the greatest joke of the day happened this morning...
I received a call this morning on my handphone. It's an anonymous call. For a moment, I was thinking who's calling. Guess who? Ha ha... It's Ms Selena from RP. She called to ask if I'm still keen in the academic position in RP. After so long, now then she call me back!
When I went for the 2nd interview back then, I was told that they will get back to me in 2 to 3 weeks' time. Look at how long they took? 3 months!!! How efficient can they be? It is obvious that they are desparate now because she even told me the exact pay that they are offering me over the phone...
I guess I have nothing much to say but I think with such kind of efficiency, it's really RP's loss. They could and might have lost too many passionate applicants....
