The Final Showdown...


Ha ha... What are these 3 "things" doing here? Having a match on Congklak? Ha ha... it was actually Xiaoting, Tony and me playing. Then it just so happened that each of us chose one of the soft toys to be our representatives, so we took this photo.

So now it's Pooh vs 大眼睛, with Ee-yore being the judge.. ha ha.. who will win this final showdown? Ha ha.. I forgot, becoz we played until I'm so tired that I just anyhow play without thinking of the strategies... and we couldn't be bothered to count the shells when the game ended...

According to Wikipedia, Congklak is a mancala game (i.e. a type of board games which is sometimes known as sowing games or count and capture games in Arabic) originates from Indonesia and is now commonly played in Indonesia (Borneo), Singapore, and Malaysia. The name "Congklak" comes from the Indonesian name for cowrie shells, which are often used as pieces., which are often used as pieces.
