Backdated - Desaru Trip
Ha ha... Merry Christmas!!! Today is Boxing Day already. As Christmas is here. So didn't really have time to come in and blog... So... now I'm going to back track abit to my Desaru Tip over the weekend....
Date: 22 Dec 07, Saturday
Woke up very early for a non-working morning, becoz... we're going to Desaru!!! Yup, my x'mas celebration with parents this year. We went to pick Xiaoting & Tony before heading towards Changi Ferry Terminal. At there, we waited pretty long before we board the ferry to Desaru.
On the ferry, everyone was so hungry & tired. So all of us fell asleep. I was then waken up by a 杀鸡 voice singing don't know what song. Ha ha... quite easy to guess who's singing bah.. After reaching the jetty, we still got to take a coach to the hotel resort. Actually, I felt very 不好意思, becoz Tony made Xiaoting sit with me. Felt thankful for them not letting me feel left out but stil... I felt bad though.
After lunch at Pulai hotel's restaurant, we went to check into our rooms. Wow... really big & nice rooms that's by the pool side & we have a balcony coz we were staying on the ground floor.
Ok, 1st stop: the fruit farm. At there, we were to look out for little pressies that are hidden around. Mum was so lucky to find 1 hidden treasure that was later exchanged for a Radio 1003 T-shirt. =) There's a small zoo there and I also tried to carry a bunny. So cute... With Xiaoting & Tony around, it was really more fun than expected.
After that, we were brought to a place where they sell honey & royal jelly. To our surprise, we were to have dinner there too. (Wah...这么快又吃？不是刚吃午餐吗？) The buffet served were pretty good & Tony made us in charge of grabbing different food. So very soon, we had ample food on our table already. Really a feast... hmm... gonna put on weight again...
The last stop of the day was to go for the Firefly viewing. This is something that you don't get to see in Singapore. So everyone was very excited. We got to take a raft out on a river in order to catch the fireflies. Some of them even caught a few. Thought it was quite poor thing for the little life but I guess... hmm... I don't have too much of a say to that.
On the raft, suddenly I have a feeling that I used to have back in my secondary school times in NASS. Looking at the sky up high and turn my from left to right, I felt that the sky is round... Kind of enjoy that feeling... felt pretty carefree....
When we got back to the resort, it was almost 12 midnight already. So those Group B people from Cambodia Trip decided to cancel our gathering....

To wake up early on a Sunday morning is really difficult. But still.. we have to... Dad & I went out to take some photos...
Ha ha... I know I'm sleepy that's why I became abit crappy.. Guess what I found? A telephone booth with NO Telephone???!?!?! Woaw... this is interesting.... Hmm....
Ha ha... ok. After breakfast, Radio 1003 planned some outdoor games for everyone.. It was very fun and entertaining... Especially with DJs making a fool of themselves... Everyone went back to check-out from the resort before processing on for lunch @ Fruit Farm.
When walking to the lunching area, I captured this sight... That's the backview of my parents... For a moment, I felt... 幸福也可以这么简单！So nice to see them so funny & loving... I love you, Dad & Mum!
After lunch, we bid farewell to some of the groups that would depart Desaru earlier while we have 2 more venues to go - The Fisherman's Museum & The Crocodile Farm.
The beach was very windy & it was having a low tide then. The sandy beach is not like normal beach. The sand is abit blackish, which reminds me of the Black Beach in Macau (黑沙滩). Look at our hair, flying everywhere... Messy messy...
Ya, I carried a baby crocodile in my hand. 我告诉你噢，我是怕的咯。。。Kk... 我胆小好吗？所以笑得很不自然。。。晓婷，快点拍。。。哈哈。。。
Kk... it's time for us to bid farewell already... Bye Desaru... Merry Christmas!!!
