Shopping Spree 2
Today is the last night at Hong Kong already. Though I believe I will miss the food here, but I kind of can't wait to go back to Singapore. Probably I'm really not theose who really like to shop.
This morning, dad went to Macau alone to settle some stuff for work while mum and I slept till pretty late then after that we went shopping again... As the last time, we stopped at Jordan. So today we went down start to Jordan to continue our shopping spree. Strangely, many of the shops are not open. So we just walk and walk and walk .... and walk and walk and walk on Nathan Road. Later I received an sms from my dad that he's coming back to Tsim Sha Tsui. Then we decided to go down to Tsim Sha Tsui area to meet him. As we were early, so we decided to continue shopping abit. Then something happened...
We went into this sovenir shop selling many very traditional chinese stuff. This I was trying to walk to the other side of the shop, suddenly a pot of those chopstick looking sticks for bunning hair purposes, fell to the floor and scattered everywhere. Oh my gosh... it was so embarassing. I tried to quickly pick them up and put back... but the pot that was holding it was actually spoiled... Soon, the sales assistant noticed then they came to help pick up. Can tell that they are quite angry. So after that I quick make payment for whatever I wanted to buy and left.
Then after that we went to SOGO shopping centre. It's been so long since I get to go to SOGO coz the last SOGO in Singapore was closed down many years ago. Majority of the goods sold there were branded goods. So didn't really find much things to buy. Only bought a small purse. By then, mum battery was really flat and need to "pump oil", so we headed to Starbucks for coffee and waited there for dad.
After meeting up, we went to have lunch and then followed by dessert at 许留山 then went to buy a sweater for grandma at some shop, went to DFS Galleria then went to Esprit Outlet again!! As this is like kind of a warehouse outlet, so everything there are sold at discounted price. So today bought more clothes...
By then it's already 4+ pm. We then headed to Wan Chai in HK Island and walk all the way to Causeway Bay. It was really a very long stretch of road.... So long that my mum was quite tired and dad got quite frustrated with her... Can feel the stress between them. Surprisingly, this area is much more crowded there then in Kowloon. We had our dinner there at some food stall. The claypot rice was really good. If given a chance, I will want to eat it again. After dinner, we decided to walk around that area since it's still early. The whole place is like Bugis Street but much much bigger and crowded.
By 8.45pm, we were back in hotel. Though it's quite early, but we were really exhausted. Started packing everything coz tomoro we'll be leaving for Macau already... Not to sure if there's internet connection there... So if there isn't, I'll talk more abit Macau when I'm back in Singapore.
Till then...
Go Hong Kong really must go Esprit!!!!
